The study examines the management of febrile convulsions in children by caregivers in Ghana, revealing widespread misconceptions and inadequate knowledge about the condition. Many parents resort to home remedies, such as herbal mixtures and physical methods, before seeking medical assistance. The study highlights the need for educational interventions to improve understanding and management practices, aiming to reduce the associated morbidity and mortality. It suggests integrating educational programs into healthcare services and collaborating with media to raise awareness, as a significant gap in knowledge and prevalent misconceptions were identified among caregivers.
