The Flowerpot is a continuously-updated collection of all preprints on anemonefish research (genus: Amphiprion; clownfish). This Peeriodical was started in 2023.

The Flowerpot aims to facilitate the discoverability of clownfish-related preprints by acting as a curated hub of the latest research on the topic. As preprints often still lack substantial community engagement (e.g. in the form of commenting, review, analysis, citation) the hope is that the increased visibility and curation may also increase post-publication interaction with these preprints, and thus increase the added value of preprints for anemonefish research and researchers.

Featured preprints are expected to span across disciplines and subtopics: Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, Developmental Biology, Immunology, Aquaculture, Larval developent, Feeding behaviour, etc.
